Space requirements

The Solvents performed the Cosmic Family piece in a variety of locations: nightclubs, open-air festivals, from the back of a truck, in a black box theatre and in a small ship.
As a touring company, the *Cosmic Family* can adapt to spaces of any size. The stage depth can be from 2.5 meters to 30 meters. For a cosy atmosphere, a stage of 5 m deep / 9 m long is ideal. The audience is to be seated, possibly at different levels of height: sitting on mats, chairs, and on raised areas, so everybody can see.
It has to be possible to hang our curtain upstage, so we can use the space behind the curtain as our backstage.



Light requirements

If the way we travel to your venue enables it, we will bring our own dimmer and lighting (2 bright spots on stands and 3 dim lamps, all Patt tested, and protected for spillage). If we cannot bring it, we require a minimum of 1 dim lamp and 1 bright spot, and a dimmer.
The performers set up the lamps and act as light technicians during the show.

Set design and outsdanding pros

- a 6 m wide x 3 m high black curtain
- a wheelchair and two chairs
- SHE the Holy mask fitted with a pump that causes small water spillage
- a mop that cleans all spillage directly
- an amplifier and a synthesizer fixed on a rolling platform


Get in time:

We need about 45 minutes to prepare our props, dress, and make up off stage, and an additional 45min to set up the curtain, our props and lights on the stage. When we know the space, we can set up in a minimum of 10 minutes.
