 An Intimate Moment is a video installation where I project an image of myself showering onto the wall of a site where the action has (or appears to have) taken place. The shower is in proximity of a toilet onto which the audience is invited to sit – and pee/or poo – whilst looking at the projection. The piece is experienced individually and lasts approximately seven minutes. During this time, through subtle personal exposures from both sides, an intimate moment is created between the audience member and myself – or the image of myself. by Dani d'Emilia - DCA 2006 |
